AMERICAN APPAREL 15% OFF COUPON - TORONTO ONLY

Also, if anyone who lives in/is visiting Toronto reads/stumbles upon this blog before the 30th, all the American Apparel stores in the city are giving 15% off everything but the reading materials, vintage, shoes, and nail polish when you print off this coupon and bring it in.

You are very, very welcome.

Got no car, got no money, got nothin' nothin' nothin' not at all

OKAY SO, I will be clothes/back to skewl shopping this weekend, I'll try to update this blog with like, webcam pictures or some shit before I leave Toronto, seeing as apparently I won't have internet until the 11th or 12th(which I hope is just my dad pulling my leg, but you never know).

FOR NOW I SHALL LEAVE YOU WITH THIS:

Pack my bags and I am on my way, one last look at how things used to be

So, I'm moving in about eight or nine days back to Cambridge. I can't say I'm really all that upset, but I'm definitely not excited either. I will definitely miss living downtown Toronto, though I haven't really accomplished much. I've only made a few new friends, I spend most of my time in my bedroom, doing nothing. Baaah. Round two will, and better be, a huge success, mainly because there will be no expiry date on my stay in Toronto then. WHILE I'M IN CAMBRIDGE, RETAKING STUPID CLASSES, I'll be updating this blog like, 24/7, and making new friends, people I actually have things in common with (I always, always say this, but forrealz, this time I actually mean it. Liking to party will simply not do in terms of things I have in common with others).

ANYWAYS, ENOUGH WITH MY LITTLE RANT

This picture was taken in my friend's backyard... about two months ago haha.

Where I got les things:
Headband/scarf - Thrifted, $1
Cropped T-shirt - American Apparel, $21
Shorts - Thrifted, $5
Bracelet - Tiffany's, Gift
I mixed my nail colour myself :)

Don't wake me, I plan on sleeping in.

What's right around the corner? Oh, that's right, my favourite season of all, autumn! And because of my growing excitement, I've begun my "research," as I like to call it, into what I want to wear this fall. Here is what I have compiled thus far:

And random things I have pulled from various Tumblrs and Lookbook.nu

'Cause on the surface the city lights shine, they're callin' at me, "come and find your kind."

Because I love music just as much, if not more than fashion, I'll also be including songs and bands I really like throughout the blog.

This is Sprawl II (Mountains Beyond Mountains) by Arcade Fire off of their new album, The Suburbs.

Shinin' in the sun like a convertible balloon

And this shall be my first real post. I don't have an recent pictures, so this is the best I can off you fine souls at the moment. Sometime in June, my sister came down to visit and we made use of her camera in the alley behind my house. This isn't the best representation of my styling skills, but again, at the moment this is all I have to offer; much better things will be coming your way as of September 1st.

I call this look "No, really, I live in that apartment over there."

WHERE I GOT THE THINGS
Plaid Shirt - Thrifted, 4 dolla holla
Joy Division Tank - Print Shop in Kensington, $18
High-Waisted Denim Skirt - Thrifted, $10
Studded Wedges - Spring, 60 some odd dollars

Introduction

Hi, my name is Liv, I'm a going-on-eighteen girl living in Southern Ontario, specifically Toronto at the moment. I really enjoy fashion, I have since I was a wee, little girl, but I've never really had the money to spend on designer pieces, or anything from even Urban Outfitters for that matter. I kind of wanted to start a blog to help show others in the same predicament as myself that yeah, you can be the most stylin' motherfucker around while your entire outfit is from VV Boutique. With that said, I do indeed own brand new clothing, but more often than not, my wardrobe selections are littered with the beauty of second-hand.

ENJOY.
